"Really impressed with the level of care. It’s not just a quick treatment, they actually take the time to understand the issue and help prevent it happening again."
Linda P, Northampton

Podiatrists are university degree-qualified healthcare professionals with specialist training in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of foot and lower limb problems.

At Green Podiatry and Chiropody, we provide treatment for a wide range of conditions, from common concerns such as corns, hard skin, cracked heels, verrucae, and painful or problematic nails, through to more complex foot and ankle problems.

Today, there is very little difference between podiatry and chiropody in day-to-day practice. “Chiropodist” is the traditional term, while “Podiatrist” is the modern title used by degree-qualified foot health professionals.

Some practitioners who originally trained as chiropodists may not have received training in areas such as local anaesthetic administration, biomechanics, or musculoskeletal assessment. However, both podiatrists and chiropodists provide professional foot care and help patients maintain healthy, comfortable feet.
